WordPress Website Maintenance Bali — Always Fast, Secure & Online
We handle all the technical upkeep — updates, backups, security, and monitoring — so you never have to think about it. If something breaks, we fix it before your customers notice.
Most business owners build a website, launch it, and then forget it exists — until something breaks. A hacked homepage, a plugin update that crashes the checkout, a backup that was never set up before the server failed. By then, the damage is done: lost sales, lost rankings, and an emergency repair bill that costs more than a year of maintenance would have. Our maintenance plans exist so that none of that ever reaches you.
- All plans include updates, backups, security scan, and uptime monitoring.
- No lock-in contract — cancel anytime with 30 days notice.
- Standard & Premium plans include hack cleanup at no extra charge.
What happens to an unmaintained WordPress site
WordPress is the most targeted CMS in the world. An unpatched vulnerability in a popular plugin can be exploited within hours of being published. Here is the typical decay pattern:
- Month 1–3: invisible slowdown — outdated plugins accumulate compatibility issues. Page speed degrades quietly. Most owners do not notice until Google does.
- Month 3–6: security exposure — known vulnerabilities in unpatched plugins are catalogued by automated scanning bots. Your site is queued for attack even if you are not a high-value target.
- Month 6–12: first incident — either a plugin update finally breaks something (incompatibility with the WordPress version), or a security breach occurs. Either way, the site goes down during business hours.
- Year 2+: compounding cost — emergency repairs, Google penalty recovery, lost revenue during downtime, and a full site rebuild often cost 5–10× what ongoing maintenance would have cost.

What every plan covers
Every maintenance plan — regardless of tier — includes these five non-negotiables:
- WordPress updates — core, all active themes, and all plugins updated and tested after each update to ensure nothing breaks.
- Daily off-site backup — backups stored on a separate server from your hosting, so a server failure cannot wipe both your site and your backup simultaneously.
- Security monitoring — automated malware scanning, file integrity checks, and login protection. We are notified before a breach escalates.
- Uptime monitoring — your site is checked every 5 minutes. If it goes down, we receive an alert immediately and begin investigating — not waiting for you to notice and call us.
- Monthly written report — a plain-language summary of what was done, what was found, and the current health of your website. No jargon.

Frequently asked questions
What is included in a WordPress maintenance plan?
All plans cover WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates; daily automated backups stored off-site; security monitoring and malware scanning; uptime monitoring with instant alerts; and a monthly written report. Standard and Premium plans add content edit hours, speed optimisation, and hack cleanup at no extra charge.
Why does WordPress need regular maintenance?
WordPress powers more than 40% of the web, making it the most targeted CMS for hackers. Outdated plugins are the leading cause of security breaches. Beyond security, unpatched sites accumulate technical debt — slower speeds, broken features, and compatibility issues that compound over time. Prevention costs a fraction of what recovery costs.
What happens if my website is hacked on a maintenance plan?
Standard and Premium subscribers get hack cleanup included — no extra charge. We restore from the most recent clean backup, remove malware, patch the entry point, and handle Google reinclusion if the site was flagged. Basic plan clients receive emergency support at a discounted rate.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No lock-in contract. Plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled with 30 days notice. We will provide all your backups and documentation before the subscription ends.
Does the maintenance plan include content updates?
Standard includes up to 2 hours of content edits per month. Premium includes up to 4 hours. Content edits cover text changes, image swaps, and minor page updates. New pages or design work are quoted separately. Basic plan does not include content edits.
My website was not built by Bali Web Design — can I still subscribe?
Yes. We accept WordPress sites built by anyone. Before we start, we run a quick audit to document the site's current state and flag any existing issues. If the site has pre-existing problems, we will quote a one-time fix before the monthly plan begins — so you start with a clean baseline.
